0012560: Gradient filter (2D) and (all other Image filters) fail to update display with results when run on test data
Gradient filter (2D) and (all other Image filters) fail to update display with results when run on 2D test data. Filter is correctly run, since results are correctly displayed if new view window is created and results are shown in new view windows. But results are never displayed correctly in original view window. (it only shows a red square).

Error was introduced in ParaView 3.10 and currently exists in ParaView 3.12 RC-1 as well.

This only appears with the auto-accept default set to on.

With auto-accept on it will first apply the 3D version of the filter which creates the red square and when changing to 2D version of the filter the correct representation is not shown.

If you have auto-accept off this does not occur as you can apply the 2D version of the filter without first applying the 3D version.

If you manually apply the 3D version of the filter and then apply the 2D version the problem will again manifest.
