I've emailed sysadmin to create a ParaView community on the MIDAS instance (I don't have enough permissions to do so). It looks like there might be a way to move Kyle's collection to another community, but that probably needs site admin or community admin rights.

Also, VTK tests don't seem to run correctly from within ParaView. Looks like it's looking for Data under a different location than where it is. e.g. try running the vtkIOEnSightPython-EnSight6Elements test from a ParaView build. It will fail to find the data.
