Summary0003724: SNL: Composite/Geometry bug
DescriptionThere appears to be the following strange bug.

1. Set Composite slider to 10 MB
2. Set Bounding Box Threshold slider to something small
3. Open data
4. Adjust bounding box size to 500M cells (the data set stays as a
bounding box)
5. Change display type on the reader to surface

At this point, ParaView appears to be sending all of the geometry down
to the client even though the data is larger than 10 MB. The client hung
for about 10 minutes during this period.

The solution was prior to opening data, make sure the composite slider
is at 0MB and the Bounding Box Threshold slider was at 500M cells.

Hi Alan,

Berk and I tried to reproduce this bug both in ParaView 2.4 and on the CVS HEAD, but we were unable to reproduce this bug. Will you please verify that this problem still exists, and if it does please send us more information about how to reproduce the problem.

This appears resolved. Tested client/server, trunk as of April 7, 2008.
