Summary0008082: Opacity doesn't change with menu settings.
DescriptionTrunk ParaView, client/server - 4 servers, mesa build, XP client, Linux servers.
Open Disk out ref.
All variables on. Apply. Color by Temp.
Display/Opacity/ 0.50. Touch the 3d window with the mouse.
Change opacity back to 1.0.

Opacity will not return to 1.0

Color by V. Color by Temp. Now, it looks OK.



I suspect that we don't know what opacity is doing! I am also marking this as high, since I believe it is related to other opacity and volume rendering issues.

I am declaring this user error. I was using remote rendering, and opacity doesn't seem to work correctly when remote rendering. When tested client/server and local client, it seems fine.
