Summary | 0001342: Grayscale lookup table produces overly quantized display
Description | Loading a floating point scalar field and displaying using the grayscale lookup table (with 256 entries in lut) produces a quantized image. Other colormaps produce a smoothly varying field but the grayscale lut overly quantizes the table (looks as though only 20 grayscales are used). Loading the same data in Paraview 1.4 does not exhibit this problem

If I turn off my graphics accelerator, the grayscale lookup work properly on ParaView 1.6 and 1.8. If my graphics accelerator is on, the grayscale lookup tables produce overly quantized images on Paraview 1.6 and 1.8 BUT PRODUCE THE CORRECT IMAGE WITH Paraview 1.4 Is a non-standard OpenGL being used now for lookup tables? |

Can you reproduce this in 3.0? |
