| Description | For each of the 2D views, we'd like to have displayed the 2 coordinates of that view + the value of the scalar array currently displayed at that point. So, for example, for the X, Y view, we'd like to see X={x}, Y={y}, DispalyedScalar={displayedScalar}. If you had the cross-hairs at x=2, y=5 and were displaying a scalar array called signal, that had the value 100 at x=2 and y=5, the legend/label would look like (X = 2, Y = 5, signal=100) Ideally, we'd like to have X and Y displayed in our natural coordinates, with the correct axis labels too. I guess this could be the selected behaviour if the correct field data arrays were available on the dataset? | ||||||||

To test that you need to Load the NonOrthogonal source plugin and create a ShearCube. Once done, change the "Range" of the source. The coordinates of X,Y,Z should follow the range label and not the absolute point coordinate. Show the cube axis to make sure the given range is properly used. You should also change the base vector to highlight the natural coordinate change. Hope that helps... |
