| Summary | 0013736: Add the ability to select cells crossing a contour value | ||||||||
| Description | Given a contour value, we would like the ability to select all cells whose scalar ranges cross a contour value---equivalently, the cells containing the iso-surface. The proposed solution is to provide the functionality in the threshold filter. Currently, threshold filter has the ability to choose cells whose vertices fall in a threshold range. We will extend it---by providing a boolean option---so that it can choose cells whose scalar ranges are intersected by the threshold range. The user can then get the desired output by - Turning off the "AllScalars" option, which means that rather than requiring the entire cell scalar range to be contained in the threshold, only intersection is required - Turning on the "Use Continuous Cell Range Option", which means cells will be considered as continous intervals, rather than discrete set. - Setting the lower and upper threshold to be equal to the desired contour value | ||||||||
