Summary

0015151: EnSight Gold Material Files Format cannot be read by vtkEnSightReader.cxx

Description

It seems as though there is currently a bug in vtkEnSightReader.cxx which does not allow Material IDs to be read using the EnSight Gold format.

According to the EnSight user manual (Page 713, http://www3.ensight.com/EnSight10_Docs/UserManual.pdf [^]);
"The material id file follows the same syntax as the per_element variable files,
except that its values are integers for each element of designated types of
designated parts..."

The error reported by ParaView is;
ERROR: In C:\DBD\pvs-x64\paraview\src\paraview\VTK\IO\EnSight\vtkEnSightReader.cxx, line 967
vtkEnSightGoldBinaryReader (000000000CE56060): invalid VARIABLE line: MATERIAL
