| Summary | 0015234: CFBundleIdentifier is missing in the Mac version of MAC | ||||||||
| Description | Right now in the Info.plist file the <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> is empty. The empty CFBundle Identifier causes the inability of the user to change the file type association in Mac OS X to Paraview. Screenshot with the Mac OS X error attached. If the key is filled and .app is "touched" the problem disappears. Suggested to check the code that is responsible for filling the Info.plist file for the missing value. | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Select the VTK file in finder 2) Right click -> Get Info 3) Change all to Paraview -> Error. For the misssing key string -> open package contents of Paraview.app, Info.plist lines 13-14. (nothing in between <string></string> tags) | ||||||||

I can confirm this is still the case with Paraview 5.1. I'll try to fix it... |
