| Description | If you load a cth file and try cth part filter it will seg fault. On my windows machine it also hangs the second video port (i.e. primary video still works but second port on card is frozen until reboot). Need to fix before sandia release. | ||||||||

It hapens with every file I have been able to find. It may just be that the GUI is wrong (Ken has a newer bug on this), but I think it should at least fail without seg faulting paraview. Incidentally, the seg fault will happen if you open an exodus file and try ExtractCTHParts on it -- looks like an illegal memory reference. |

I am pretty sure this is a problem with the GUI (although mine produces an error instead of crashing). We will need to write a custom panel for this filter. |

If we instead use a StringVectorProperty with an ArraySelectionDomain, the GUI will automatically generate list view with check boxes. Will that work with vtkExtractCTHParts? |

No. The ExtractCTH filter works only with some arrays. We don't have a domain for this yet. I am not sure if it easier to write a domain or a custom panel. I will leave the judgment call to Utkarsh. |
