Summary0005351: Visibility before apply sticks visibility
DescriptionThere is this weird issue where if you turn on the visibility of a pipeline object before you first hit apply, the object "sticks" to the view so that you cannot turn it off. Here is a way to replicate the problem.

1. Create a source (like a sphere), but do NOT hit apply.
2. Turn on the visibility of the object by either clicking the eyeball in the pipeline browser or by clicking the visibility checkbox in the display tab.
3. Click the apply button. Everything looks normal, but when you try to turn the visibility off, it does not work. The object is always visible in that view.

 I am guessing the change was to disable the eyeball icon in the pipeline browser until the initial apply, because I can no longer turn on the visibility that way until Apply is hit (which is good). However, I can still tickle this bug by switching to the Display panel and using the Visible checkbox there. That should be disabled too.
