| Description | When you connect to a server and you enter values for it, the next time you connect it uses the original default values rather than the last values you entered. This is somewhat irritating, for example, if you always want a job of a certain size that is different than the default. It is really irritating for many Sandia users where you have to enter some special 10 digit number representing a funding source that is always different than the default. | ||||||||

In a pvsc file, you can specify options with the Options tag and Option sub-tags. If options are specified for a particular server, PV will pop up a dialog box allowing the user to enter values for those options. Right now, the default is always set to that specified in the pvsc file rather than the last one entered by the user. |

Ok, its fixed now. It only gets saved if it was read from the user's writable pvsc file. |

Um, actually the big use case is to remember the last entries in the site-wide servers configuration. The ones in the user's writable pvsc file are much more likely to contain the defaults that are most likely to make sense. It's not really important for this to be done by 3.2, so I will lower the priority. |
