Summary | 0005685: X axis for XY plot on CSV data with zero values, zeroes out at 5.55e-17 instead of zero (window/viewport dependent)
Description | Note: I have not tested this on Linux, it shows on my Windows build. When loading CSV data (see below, and attached image) to show in XY plot, that has zero values in curve, the X-axis zeroes out at -5.55e-17, instead of 0. However, resizing the window fixes it, so it appears to be some sort of viewport scaling issue, and obviously is more annoying than urgent bug. This CSV data exhibts the problem: Time,V(FET_BIAS),V(RF_PWR5_TX),V(DA_VIDEO_DIG) 0.00E+00,0,0.5,-2 1.50E-11,0,0.5,-2.2 4.50E-11,0,0.7,-2.4 1.05E-10,1,0.7,-2.6
Steps To Reproduce | 1. load data 2. show as XY plot 3. resize window to see effect

Putting this off until after we switch to new chart support |

The new charts do not seem to have this problem. |

Ken, I am seeing the problem still. I did the following: Create file as listed above. Open this file. convert to >> XY Plot. On the left axis, where 0 should be, I see -5.55e-17. Trunk, local server, XP. |

Tested with new plots. It's possible that Alan you were using the old chart before. Try again with updated ParaView. Attached is the new view. |
