I don't understand why the gui does not allow users to open multiple files. Because user can hitting apply when he select a file in the plugin pipeline browser. This is two separate operations. Is it a particular reason for this kind of behavior?
Only a file series or a single file can be opened by specifying a
command line option, and not just a random set of multiple files. This
is consistent with the gUI behavior which does not allow users to open
multiple files (unless it's a file series) without hitting Apply after
each reader.
