The user who requested it is interested in seeing contours of volumes rendered this way (i.e. surfaces). Adding it as another representation could be an option - just out of interest, how much work is involved in added a representation?<br>

If you want to disable shading for line-contours, simply switch to "Wireframe" representation. Lighting is disabled by default for wireframe rendering.<br><br>Utkarsh<br><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div><div></div>

I'll take a look at the render view code....</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Paul</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote">2009/6/8 Moreland, Kenneth <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:kmorel@sandia.gov" target="_blank">kmorel@sandia.gov</a>></span><div>

<font face="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">This type of option actually belongs in the render view options, not the display panel. If you look at the display panel, you will see that a couple of lighting options are already implemented. I don’t know how easy it would be, but you should be able to implement a new lighting setup by duplicating code that is already there.<br>
