What Service Pack of XP x64 are you using? If you're not using SP2 I believe updating to the latest should work.

On Mon, Aug 10, 2009 at 9:12 PM, Glenn Horrocks <glenn.horrocks@silverbrookresearch.com> wrote:

I have just installed Paraview V3.6.1 on my WinXP x64 machine from the binaries. The installation appeared to complete successfully. When I try to launch Paraview I get the message "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." (see attached for the full message).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Paraview and restarted my machine, still crashes.
My colleague has just installed V3.6.1 on his Vista x64 machine and that works fine.

If you need any further information let me know.
