Yes I think it is a bug. <div><br></div><div>It does the same on my machine and I could see when, given a fast enough machine/small enough volume, you might want it not to do that.<div><div><br></div><div>You might expect the LOD Parameters controls to affect this but they do not since they only pertain to surface rendering.<div>

Both ParaView 3.8.1 and 3.12.0 does the same thing for volume<br>
rendering. I wonder if it's a bug or only happened on my computer. To<br>
explain better, I have attached two images. One is during rotation<br>
while I was holding down the mouse button, and one is after I released<br>
the mouse button. You can see the aliased edge of the blurry<br>
rendering, and after I released the mouse button, it takes about one<br>
second for ParaView to change back to the non-blurry rendering . If<br>
this still looks like a bug to you, I'll file a bug report.<br>
