Yes, I have a filter that uses cuda. I'm in progress of adding
streaming capability to support larger datasets, and I'd have to
roll back my current checkout to share with you which I haven't had
time to do yet. My experience was similar to Dave's. It's very easy
to use cuda from with PV, more challenging to use it well. I think
you'll have no problem even without an example to work from.<br>

Incidentally, I noticed Burlen had some CUDA related stuff in SQtoolkit that I found when googling. I will check that for hints.

Hey John,
I've been working with LANL to get their PISTON library integrated into VTK and ParaView. It will be making its way into master over the next few weeks. Our work involves both GPGPU (data manipulation only) filters and a new direct from thrust to GL (glInterop) mapper.
Getting vtk/paraview to use cuda wasn't too hard, just use CMake's FindCUDA module to get a hold of nvcc and then run that on the .cu files to get object files/symbols you can use from your VTK classes.
