When I try to volume render the example disk_out_ref.ex2 data set I get what looks like a lot of garbage in the frame buffer (see attached image). I'm only using a single node on the render cluster at the moment. If I try to volume render the iron_protien.vtk data set I get no image at all, and no error messages either. I've set the opacity map to be opaque for all, but all I see is the bounding box. Neither problem exists if I load the data set locally and perform the rendering on the client. </div>

I've built pvserver 3.14.1 for Linux X86_64 and I'm trying to use it with a binary distro of the 3.14.1 client under Mac OS X 10.6. The server runs, and I can connect to it with the Mac client, and I can load a remote file. But whenever I hit apply the client and server immediately terminate. Same result if I simply try to render one of the built in source objects (e.g. sphere). Note, if I use a binary distro of pvserver it works fine. The only changes I've made to the build configuration from the default is to turn off Qt.<br>
