I tried to simply check the information tab the bounds of each cylinder and then to calculate the Norma (sqrt((x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2+(z1-z2)^2) for two points p1(x1,y1,z1) and p2(x2,y2,z2) each point from another cylinder). But then I figured out that the bounds are actually the bounding box's bounds.

So, my question is: how am I getting the information about a point which was extracted from a cylinder?
I guess that a solution might be: filter->extract selection->information tab and then as described above. but I'm searching for a shorter way ...

any suggestions?

Best,
Hila.

On Fri, Aug 17, 2012 at 12:00 PM, Hila Hiler <hilahiler@gmail.com> wrote:
