For the script you downloaded, you should remove line 3 where it says Connect(). It's possible the script is old enough that some of the statements need to be updated in order to run against the latest version of ParaView.<br>

The c extenion modules have dependencies on dynamic libraries which are located in Contents/Libraries, so Contents/Libraries this needs to be in the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH.<br>
