<div dir="ltr"><div>Ashish,<br></div><div><br></div><div><i>What version of ParaView you are building? Is this the first time you are trying to build this version?</i><br></div><div>>>> I am trying to build ParaView 4 (64 bit). It now compiles successfully (but does not run properly). I am now using an identical set of tools and libraries as have been used in building ParaView 4 64 bit release, as per this <a href="http://paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView_Binaries">wiki entry</a>. I have Visual Studio 2008 SP1, QT 4.8.2 and Python 2.7.3. and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. </div>
<div><br></div><div>With the above mentioned set of tools and libraries, I am able to CMAKE generate a Visual Studio solution containing 593 projects. And they all compile successfully upon ALL_BUILD. However, when I launch my application, it still crashes when I try to do Volume Rendering. My datasets are .VTK files of 300x300x500 voxels, and they do work just fine with the ParaView4 installed directly from the binaries hosted on ParaView website. </div>

For instance, it will build 53 projects and then just halt there forever. I have to crash Visual Studio at this point. For 64 bit build, I build QT 4.8.4 from source on my own as per these instructions : </div>
