| Summary | 0012542: Client Outline Threshold should take effect when remote rendering. |
| Description | The "Client Outline Threshold" option (in settings -> Render View -> Server) only takes effect when remote rendering is off. That is, if the geometry is being rendered remotely, it never uses the outline instead.
This behavior is really wrong. The point of this setting is a fallback when the interactive render is too slow. If you are dealing with large geometry (even with LOD), it might be impossible to safely set the rendering for local rendering.
When interactive remote rendering, the Client Outline Threshold should be absolute. If the geometry is above the threshold, the interactive render should be a bounding box no matter what the other settings are. |

BUG 0012542. Added support for interactive mode using outlines.
Removing ClientOutlineThreshold - it was used to control when to deliver
outlines to client for interactive renders. Instead, added a checkbox to the
"LOD Parameters" dialog to indicate that when using LOD, use outlines. When
checked, if the view decides to use LOD rendering for interactive renders (based
on the LOD threshold), it will use outline for the LOD instead of
quadric-clustering.
