Summary0008683: Axes in charts rescale by default when animating over time
DescriptionWhen you are plotting some data that changes over time in a bar chart or x-y plot, the axes by default will readjust at every time step if the ranges change. A better default behavior would be to hold them steady to prevent misleading changes in the plot. Basically, the behavior should follow that of the color map in 3D views.

Marcus please verify that the chart ranges work like colormaps do: fixed to first known, or user specified range.

I didn't see the message as you didn't assign this to me - I can confirm the current behavior is as Ken states. User specified ranges are kept, but when animating the chart is rescaled at each time step.

This should now be fixed with commit b1d3d35 - please let me know if it does not conform to your requirements.
