Some August Build UI Issues

  • Currently, "Create Animation" is activated only when the selected source has timesteps. Is this acceptable?
  • With ability to disconnect and save animation, the save animation file dialog must be server side dialog when saving animation after disconnect, and a client side dialog when saving animation on the client. Currently the file dialog appears before the "Animation Settings" dialog, since the animation settings dialog depends on the type of file being saved.
  • 3D View Settings: One we start saving 3D view settings, does that mean that the new render modules we create will use the most recently saved 3D view settings?
  • Animation saves the view in the active render module in the movie. Is that acceptable?
