utkarsh: git repository has moved over to master/next style some tasks related to data that are being figured out should iron out w/in next couple weeks bug tracker has also moved-- mantis has switched on vtk and paraview

tomorrow is first review meeting using new process method

3.12 schedule

--so far so good; main focus is cth stuff and prism;
 charles cth, prism--coming along; one technical obstacle, rest coding
 initial fixes for axes
 July end branch; cth part is questionable part

Nathan: what changes to cth?

 clip cth and passing variables and capping for contour
 on reader side adding derived density calcs
 Berk:  general calculator to reader?
 discussion:  is there a good reason to work for this visit-ish capability

 prism--greg
   4 main areas of work;
     multiple surfaces, pretty far along, (robert: working with other than widgets, greg--user control over auto scaling)
       thresholds don't auto rescale
     handling point data as opposed to transforming everything being associated with an element
     we've tested 301 equation of stat surfaces a lot; haven't tested conductivity tables; suspect doesn't work now
     how the unit conversions are handled--right now, read from xml file;  conductivity 
     greg has decent sim test dataset--wrote out all possible cell data, wrote out tracers
     greg needs to coordinate with robert and alan to get into repository and build

paraview 4

 utkarsh--can't start paraview 4 until september
 multiply big deal?
 berk--would like to revise the way we do ghost levels in vtk
   would like to unify ghost levels and blanking

greg--what other amr data beside cth? flash enzo chambo boxslip samurai; 5-10 formats, most coming from visit bridge (have SBIR on amr)
