[Paraview-developers] Calculator parsing bug?

Dear developers,

We found an issue with the Paraview Calculator in that it seems to parse variables wrong that start with the same name as a build in function like abs or sin. Moreover, it only happens, if such variable is followed by an opening bracket. This behaviour is present in PV 5.2 and all the way back to PV 3.14.

Can you reproduce this and is this a known issue?

To try it, just run attached script using pvpython.
