[Paraview] Building paraview with python support

I am trying to build paraview with python support, but also with no shared
libraries.  It seems if I set the PARAVIEW_ENABLE_PYTHON cmake variable to
ON, the BUILD_SHARED_LIBS variable is also set to ON.

Is there any way to work around this?

I'm building on AIX 5.3 if it's of any interest.
