[Paraview] OSX 10.6, Qt 4.5

Did you set "-arch i386" after the initial cmake run?
Does it work a little better if you do the following in a terminal?
export CFLAGS="-arch i386"
export CXXFLAGS="-arch i386"
cmake /path/to/ParaView3
