[Paraview] Transform Filter Loses Colors

If open this file in Paraview:
http://rpi.edu/~doriad/Paraview_List/coordinate_axes.vtp, in the "Display"
tab of the Object Inspector, change "Color by: " to "Colors", then uncheck
"Map Scalars", the axes are red, yellow, and green, as expected. However, if
I apply a transform filter to this, the "Colors" array seems to still be
there, but I cannot uncheck "Map Scalars" (it is grayed out) so the colors
are displayed incorrectly. Why would this be?
