[Paraview] Rendering problems after applying transparency: Paraview 3.14 Linux 32 bits

Dear all,
a friend of mine is starting to use Paraview, but she is having the
following problem:
Everything works normally after she applies some  opacity : in that case,
she has some rendering problems. The sample file can be downloaded in
http://goo.gl/v0YD2 , is a techplot file (please read with the plain
techplot reader, not the ensight one), and an screenshot of the problem can
also be downloaded at http://goo.gl/U0pL1 (you can see there the stranges
diagonal "surfaces" at the corners)
The systems specs:
Linux Ubuntu 2.6.35-32-generic Version 10.10 32 bits
Paraview 3.14 bits
*The problem does not appear in the mac version of paraview 3.14.*
We though the problem could be related with the graphic card. She has a
nVidia Corporation G86 [GeForce 8500 GT] (rev a1), but she is using the
nouveau driver. She cannot install the nvidia propietary driver.
Any suggestion and advice is greatly welcome. Thanks in advance.
