[Paraview] exporting x3d files

Are you fellows absolutely certain you are exporting x3d files correctly?
When I open them in blender, they get colored wrong.  I'm trying to figure out if this is a problem in blender or in paraview, but am not sure where to start.
Here is an image of the color attribute textured onto a slice plane as exported in x3d from paraview.
