| Description | I believe this is a show stopper for 3.8. * ParaView 3.8.0 (about a week old), Linux, local server. * Open Can.exo. All vars on, apply. * Select point - any point on the bottom of the bottom plate. * Plot selection over time. <Bug> The biggest selected value will be ACCL (by far). Notice the numbers on the Y axis. For me, they go (from the bottom) 0, 500000, 1e+06, 1.5e+06, 2e+06, 3e-06, 3.5e-06, 4e-04. First bug - exponents should all be positive. Second bug - the 4 of 4e-06 looks like a 1. | ||||||||

I cannot reproduce this issue here, but it may be related to another issue I fixed last week. I did quite a bit of work refactoring the axis label generation code. Here I selected global ID 7728 on bottom plate, followed your steps. I get 0, 1e+06, 2e+06 up to 6e+06 on the y axis. This is on Linux with a build from Friday I believe. I am currently rebuilding ParaView on my much slower Windows machine, and will double check there once it is done rebuilding. |
