Summary | 0011318: Small time steps in XDMF file prevent results from being shown |
Description | If the XDMF input file has a temporal collection that has time steps less than about 2.0e-7, Paraview 3.8.0 and 3.8.1 will not show the mesh or results. This is where "time step" is defined as the difference in the times of two adjacent steps. This bug does not occur, if for example the first time step is 1.0e-12, so long as the next time step is something larger than 2.0e-7. Also, if later frames have larger time steps, the mesh/results are shown with no errors for those large time steps. |
Additional Information | Reproduced this bug in 3.8.0 and 3.8.1, but it did not exist on 3.6.x. This is on both Ubuntu 10.04 and Centos 5.
The attached files contain an example of the bug (open the xmf file from Paraview, click on Apply, and press play). |
