Summary0011621: Color legend precision is incorrect for exponent case
DescriptionI have created three screenshots, showing what I want, what I don't want, and kind of what I want. Here is how to recreate these screenshots:

* Windows client, local server, trunk.
* open can.exo. All vars on, apply.
* Turn on a color legend.
* Edit/ settings/ Grow every timestep.
* (I actually changed the color table, but it won't matter.)
* Color by: displ. See file goodColorLegend.png. This is what we want. Notice that the min and max are 6 digits of precision, intermediate are just the integer part (1 or 2, or as many chars as necessary).
* Color by: accl. See file badColorLegend.png. The intermediate numbers look nice, but the min and max are truncated to 4 characters, and 1 digit of precision. This is misleading, since the actual number is 5.44e9 (rounding somewhat). What we want for the max is shown in semiGoodColorLegend.png. What we want on the intermitant ticks is from badColorLegend.png.
