Summary0012589: Images displayed incorrectly
DescriptionI have a png file that is not opening correctly in ParaView. The same thing happens with an mha file, so it is not a problem with the PNGReader.

You will find the png and mha here:
http://daviddoria.com/Uploads/ParaView/ [^]

You will also find a screenshot (bad.jpg) of what I see when I open
them in ParaView. You will find a screenshot of what it looks like in
a normal image editor in good.jpg.

This seems like a major problem.

Note: I am using a very simple (onboard) video card:
~$ lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82G33/G31 Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 10)

I am not able to reproduce this issue using the current version of ParaView from git-master. I've attached a screen shot which matches your "good.jpg".

Which version of ParaView are you running and on what platform?

I am using git-master on Ubuntu 11.04. It works fine on a different machine, which I why I thought it might have something to do with the video driver? Everything else in ParaView works fine though, so I thought it was something that could be corrected rather than just a "my machine is broken".

Ok, I'll try to get a hold of a computer with intel integrated graphics and see if I can reproduce the bug.

Tested locally, built-in server, Mac OS

Could not reproduce. Assuming video driver issue.
