| Description | The GUI is not generated properly for filters in the pipeline that are not visible. I've attached an example state file where I applied two extract blocks. The second extract block has an incorrect GUI (information and properties). This is ok to show a blank GUI when the previous filter has not been enabled but shouldn't the update be triggered once the input is there? | ||||||||

This is a product of the lazy evaluation of the pipeline. The pipeline for objects is updated only when the object is made visible, hence the blank GUI. Note that if the extract blocks filters are made visible and a state file is saved and then loaded in a fresh ParaView session, the information for each Extract Block filter populates the GUI. ParaView 5.1, Mac OS, built-in server - Load attached state file (there will be a warning about state files saved from versions before 4.0) - Confirm reported GUI behavior. This is expected. |
