Summary0013698: Eye Dome Lighting that does not depend on GPU for large data sets that require parallel processing
DescriptionThe eye dome lighting plugin is functioning as documented, but we have some clients workflow depending on this plugin, but their work is producing larger and larger data sets, which is pushing them clusters with CPUs and no GPUs.

"Eye Dome Lighting - A non-photorealistic shading technique designed at EDF (France) to improve depth perception in scientific visualization images.

It relies on efficient post-processing passes implemented on the GPU with GLSL shaders in order to achieve interactive rendering."
