Summary | 0014920: Color bleeds with multi block coloring
Description | Color is bleeding between blocks. Misrepresents data, thus needs to be fixed. * Linux, master, local server. * can.exo, load all vars, apply. * Left click on the screen and pull down, rotating the dataset so you can see the can and the top of the plate. * Right click on the can. Set block color. Select a color (such as burgundy - dark red). * Right click on the plate. Color by ACCL. * Now, single step forward through time. Notice that the plate has a burgundy streak, or painted set of cells on the left side. This is a bug.

Alan, Try this: instead of picking burgandy, select the dark green for the can and repeat the steps you mention. The lower block still gets colored "burgandy" when you move 1 step forward. I believe that burgandy is coming from the lookup table. Switch to using another color map preset e.g. "GrayScale" and the block goes white for me. If you still notice a bleed, feel free to reopen/move to backlog. |

Lets mark this closed. This is happening on an NX system which uses an ancient version of Mesa3d for rendering. I tried on a hardware Linux system, and this bug does not show itself. We can reopen if we get other complaints. |

Closing, doesn't happen on hardware Linux. |
