I use the settings > "Enable multicore support for data processing" option in 4.2, but when reading in a large case, only one CPU thread is used. In 4.1, this option worked perfectly, with paraview launching and then running on the specified number of cores.

Also, when running a python script with pvbatch, v4.2 actually runs on one core, with output being printed 14 times (I guess it's running 14 copies of the script on one CPU, rather than one process on 14 cpu's?) Here is my launch command:

/usr/mpi/gcc/openmpi-1.6.5/bin/mpiexec -n 14 /opt/paraview/4.2.0/bin/pvbatch --use-offscreen-rendering path_to_python_script.py

The same command with 4.1.0 worked great.
