| Description | Our color legend is misrepresenting data. Do the following: Linux, 4.3.1, local server. Open disk_out_ref.exo. All vars on. Apply. Calculator filter. Formula of Temp*1000-293000. Apply. Color by Result (should have already happened). Color Map Editor/ Use log scale when mapping... <Bug> Notice that the labels are placed where the ticks show even powers of 10. So, I don't know what it is showing, but 631 looks like it should be moving across the 10,000 line. Not sure what it is trying to show. | ||||||||

As per Ken, and I agree, we are not misrepresenting data - just presenting it in a really screwy way. Lets fix this for 4.4, but the world won't end if we wait until then. |

Alan, I uploaded what following the bug report steps looks like in ParaView 5.0.1. Does it still need fixing? The tick labels look reasonable to me. |

I agree. It now looks correct. I will close the bug. Tested as written below, log and non log. Matched up similar temperatures. Looks good before and after calculator. Further, the tick marks actually look good. Tested master, Linux, local server. |
