Maybe this is obvious to others, but can elaborate on what the expected behavior is? I'm guessing you mean side sets and edge sets from Exodus files. Sets in Exodus files are loaded as separate blocks in a multiblock dataset.

Are you saying you want the equivalent of what is in the Multi-block inspector to be in the standard properties tab show you can turn blocks on and off, or are you saying that you want special code in ParaView to recognize the blocks the Exodus reader creates and handle them specially?
