Summary | 0004152: Stream tracer seed type changes on state load
Description | If you save a state with the stream tracer filter in it that uses the line seed type, then when you load the state everything seems fine at first. However, as soon as you select the stream trace filter, the seed type suddenly reverts back to the point cloud type. I have attached a state file exhibiting the problem. The state file defines a vector field that spins around the z-axis that is sampled in a regular grid. A stream tracer with a line-type seed that is close to parallel to the z-axis generates a sort of cylinder of streamlines. Load the state file, and you will see this cylinder-like geometry. Now click on the StreamTracer1 filter. The geometry suddenly changes to a ball. This is because the seed type was changed to a point cloud.

/cvsroot/ParaView3/ParaView3/Qt/Components/pqStreamTracerPanel.cxx,v <-- pqStreamTracerPanel.cxx new revision: 1.24; previous revision: 1.23 Don't default to PointSource. Set up the seed type based on what the server manager says. |
