| Description | There is a precision issue in ParaView when displaying variables using log data. Bug appears on XP, 3.2.1 and trunk. * Open can.exo. Turn all variables on, apply. * Color by PedigreeNodeId. Display/ Edit color map/ select Use Logarithmic Scale. * Rescale to Data Range. * Split horizontal * Calculator - use PedigreeNodeId*0.001*0.001. This will go into result, which is what we will color by. * Display/ Edit color map/ select Use Logarithmic Scale. * Rescale to Data Range. Look at the blue areas on the can. User error. In the example image given, the pedigree ids directly drawn are the cell pedigree ids and the calculator has been run on the point pedigree id. If you derive the colors from the pedigree ids for points (as I show on a new image that I just attached), everything looks correct. |
