Summary0007549: Camera issue when redoing 3D view creation
DescriptionThe camera is not being properly set (or reset) when a 3D view is created with a redo action. To replicate, do the following:

1. Create any primitive object (e.g. Sources -> Cone) and Apply
2. Split the view either horizontally or vertically
3. With the new (blank) view selected, create another primitive object (e.g. Sources -> Cone) and Apply
4. Click the Undo button; the view goes blank as expected
5. Click the Redo button; the 3D view is recreated and the geometry put in it, but the camera is clearly not properly reset.

The errant behavior is associated with creating the 3D View. You can get similar behavior by first deleting the one and only view, creating and applying a cone, then doing the undo/redo.

Just wondering if there was any news on this issue. This bug is still reproducible as of 3 November 2008, when I did my most recent CVS checkout. Thanks!

This seems to have been fixed already.

It sure looked very, very wrong to me.

From scratch, client/remote server. Numerous servers. XP client, trunk.
As below, but I put a cone in the first window, a sphere in the second window.
It is also replicable - I can go back and forward, and each forward is wrong - even though I then resize after each forward.

As stated above, this doesn't seem to be fixed to me...

I checked this against the trunk today, it is still bad. XP, local server.
