Summary0014242: Cannot volume rendering using vectors
DescriptionLoad attached dataset. One cannot seem to volume render it using the vector array "uxvywz". As a work around, one can apply the calculator to extract one of the components (or compute magnitude) and then volume render it.

 This is not working. I did the following:
* 5.0.0, Linux, local server.
* Load disk_out_ref.exo, all vars on, apply.
* Paint by V. Volume render.
* Now, do it manually. Calculator, mag(V). Volume render.

They are very different. This isn't working.

 I verified that for image data/structured datasets, volume rendering now supports vectors e.g.

* Wavelet -> Random Vector -> Volume Render by "BrownianVectors" works as expected.

The issue is with vtkOpenGLProjectedTetrahedraMapper that is used for unstructured grids.

 I don't think image data works either when rendering by a vector. See the uploaded state file.
