Deliverables
Testing (Clint/Amy/Shawn)
Clint: has not done any testing/code coverage this week. Mark will add coverage for charts as soon as changes are done.
Amy: Added some more testing for some of the transfer function editor stuff. Sent to Berk to test part of the hierarchical fractal. Also integrate attribute and something else. Berk will hopefully get to that tomorrow.
Went through yesterday and there were quite a number of classes that were not doing PrintSelf tests. Gained almost 1.5% coverage by running PrintSelf.
Started to add compositing tests, but there is a bug for doing offscreen rendering that is in the way.
Display Rearchitecture (Utkarsh)
Going well. Converting the GUI to use the new view architecture. Lookmarks and element inspector need to change. By the end of this week he should hopefully have something that can be committed.
Multiblock (Dave D.)
Finally started looking at this. The first thing to work on is to get the multiblock delivery to the client working correctly and selection on multiblock. Just starting.
Exodus (Eric)
Writing over time is working, but it is only writing out a single block and no node sets or side sets.
For the exodus reader, Dave Thompson reports that the new exodus reader does not support the exodus meta data model. After some discussion, we may or may not actually need it. Eric will proceed trying to go without.
Animation (Clint/Utkarsh)
Clint: Still working on it. Will start integrating with server manager this week.
Utkarsh: Nothing.
Selection (Dave D.)
Going to work on selecting multiblock.
Annotation (Yumin)
Spent most of the time on the new representation/view classes with Utkarsh. Text display parameters is pretty much done.
Working currently on the camera panel.
Spreadsheet View (Utkarsh/Berk)
Nothing yet.
Charts (Mark)
Checked in a big batch of changes. Reachitected charts to enable new functionality requested. Missing features: in line chart the colors for lines do not match those in the display panel and there is no way to change right now.
Support for Multiple Output (Berk)
Is now supported by the server manager. Will create a Wiki page that shows how they will be updated in the pipeline browser.
Issues for ParaView 3.0.2
We have a couple of bugs at Sandia that we need fixed on 3.0.
We would really like to have the accept button more noticeably changed when enabled. It should be solid green when ready.
We have some important users that PV will handle edge and face data. We said it would, but it does not. Dave Thompson thinks he can fix it by Wednesday before he goes on vacation.
We will mark these showstopper bugs as 5 in the bug tracker. When they are done, they will be moved to the 3.0 branch and it will be tagged 3.0.2.
