VTK/ParaView Charts

Development to happen in vtkSNL.

Reimplementation of ParaView charts into new VTK architecture available in May.

Deliverables

Multiblock (Utkarsh, Berk, ETI)

Started the implementation. Composite data pipeline is starting to use the new hierarchy.

SILO Reader (Pat)

Has something that can read hierarchy. Only has toy files right now.

Ken talked with Eric Brugger about the SILO license. He is trying to get a BSD license for SILO, but it is currently in bureaucracy hell. We should continue as we have been: make a separate plugin. When the license changes, we can incorporate into VTK.

Selection (Dave Cole)

Dave C. talking with Dave D. Reading up on Wiki pages and source code.

Plugin improvements (ETI)

Added ability for user to put plugins in their home area. Plugin manager now is local and remote instead of client and server.

ParaView/Titan Chart Merger (Jeff, Utkarsh, Philippe, ETI)

Volume Rendering Algorithm Chooser (Dave Cole)

Not started.

Plot multiple points/cells over time (Berk)

Not started.

Textures (Utkarsh)

Committed first pass of stuff for that. If there are texture coordinates, you have a box that you can load a texture image. That image gets added to the combo list.

Also added filters that add texture coordinates. They may not work in parallel.

2D Image View type (Utkarsh)
