Discussion

The server "hints" came up again, with the group discussing what they are / how they can be used. See Server Hints for details.

The group discussed the recent move from pqMainWindow to pqMainWindowCore, and Prism-over-ParaView3 requirements. Corey requested that pqServerManagerModel expose additional signals when adding and deleting sources. Corey and Clinton will refactor the pqWidgets project into separate pqCore and pqComponents projects with widget-related functionality going into the components project, and some functionality in pqApplicationCore (such as active view, active server, etc) moving to the client for management.

There was a discussion on how selections are marshalled between the PVS and Qt worlds via pqSelectionManager, and it was confirmed that pqSelectionManager will grow to handle arbitrary cell selections, not just proxy selections as it does today.

The team covered PGraph, where it is at, and what needs to be done, since Andy C. may be able to contribute time towards it this month.
