  • Shead - update pqMainWindowCore API so clients can open files without inheriting ParaView-specific behavior.
  • Stimpson - determine the best method for exposing arrays from the SESAME reader.

Discussion

The team discussed how to expose arrays as server manager properties from the SESAME reader for Prism, Kitware had a divergence of opinions on how it should be done. Corey and Clint will explore the alternatives presented ;)

Tim updated the team on changes made to the collapsible groups widget, and created a Wiki page for feedback.

Tim updated the team on how MRU files have been re-implemented to support server as well as file information. The next step will be remote startup of servers.

Andy raised an issue with the design of pqMainWindowCore, he would like to see an API change to allow use of the standard file dialog / server dialog behavior, but without automatic creation of a display (he needs to create a custom pipeline once his user has chosen a file). The team discussed various approaches to do this.
